Years ago I putted a few really long putts on a green with my driver. I found that I was extremely accurate and was able to judge lag putts beautifully. I recently started to do it again, just for fun, same result. With 14 clubs in my bag, including a Ping G2 My Day putter. Is it allowed to alternate with the two as and when I wish, or are there limitations on the use of the driver as a putter? Weird, but you don't ask you don't learn!
not only can you use any club in the bag, you can use any part of the clubheab to strike the ball. the toe, heel, back, sole. however, you can only use the clubhead to strike the ball, no pool cue action with the grip end of the club.
as to driver as putter, i played with a guy who used his driver to putt everything outside 10ft. used in sort of a bellyputter fashion with grip in the gut and gripped down on the shaft of the club. he would take the club back along the ground in a wide arc. as i remember he sank a bunch of long putts, 15 to 20 footers and left only tap-ins if they didn't go in.

So Putters got a Dance Maniax/ Dance Freaks a long while ago, but it has been non-functional. I don’t really know how long they’ve had it on the floor to play.

I just got the Callaway GES club set that I bought on Ebay. It has three woods, three irons which are I think are hybrids but these are my first golf clubs so I'm a bit confused and a putter. There is no wedge, or at least nothing that says it is a wedge. The clubs are all labeled as driver, long fairway wood, mid fairway wood, long iron, mid iron, short iron and obviously putter. So I am curious if anyone knows which of these clubs I would use in sand? Right now I am just practicing driving but eventually I want to play on a course so will need to know which to use. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.
Out of the sand you want to play the club that has the most loft. That way the ball will get out easier. I recommend using your short iron for greenside bunkers (Ones right by the green) and I reccomend your mid iron for fairway bunkers (Ones far from the hole along the fairway)

I bought a Ping G2i anser putter a while back, and I guess everything on it is standard. It has never really fit me well, but I can deal with it. So I was just wondering how much it would cost and how long it would take to go through the process of getting my putter fitted to me.
If it helps, the closest place I know that can fit putters is a Golfsmith store.
first go get it cut to your right lenght and that will show you how much your lie angle is off any good pro shop can ajust the lie to your stance you will see how much your putting improves right away enjoy your new putting it will cost you no more than 25 bucks

I am a pretty decent putter and im great with my long irons, but I have problems when it comes to delicate chips. This is a big problem because I usually have 100 yards or less into the green. Does anyone have any drills that could help me????
The best thing you could do is go for a lesson with your local golf pro and they will show you the correct way, then just practice and you will get better in no time!
