The Redwood Series
The Ping Redwood series is named after Redwood City, California, where Karsten Solheim started working on putters in his garage, and this was the start of the Ping company. These putters are all milled from 303 stainless steel with two finish options of Black and Nickel or Black Satin. Some golfers like the feel of a milled putter. Three traditional models are offered in this format, the Anser, Zing, and Piper.

The Karsten Series of putters are named after Karsten Solheim, the founder of Ping. This series of putter made its debut in October 2007. The faces of the Karsten series putters are made of steel with an elastomer insert added at the point of contact.
You will be pleased with the weight that is distributed to the perimeter of the club head and increases the club head moment of inertia (MOI). This allows you to recover from off-center hits. These putters also have what is called a mult-level alignment aid. The thin and rectangular top edge of the putter contrasts to the aiming lines in the back cavity to make alignment easier. There are seven models to be offered in the Karsten series including the Anser, Anser 2, B60, B67, Zing, Craz-E, and Piper models of putter heads.
